Cervical Spondylosis is the degeneration of cervical spine. It mostly occur after the age of 50 years and is more in persons who spend long hours on computer or reading or writing.
Causes:
Degeneration of spine mostly which can be age related or due to some injury.
Main Symptoms:
1. Pain in back or side of neck.
2. Stiffness of neck.
3. Tingling or numbness in both or one arm or hand.
4. Radiation of pain to head, shoulders, arms, chest etc.
5. Nausea or vertigo or vomiting.
6. Diagnosis is made by X Ray of cervical spine(AP,Lat view) or by taking history.
Sometimes symptoms occur in young adults between 15--35 years of age.In such cases there may not be X Ray changes but spasm of muscle may be present. It is due to long use of mobile or computer,wrong sitting posture, lack of exercise or wrong sleeping position.
Treatment:1. Use of support to neck in the form of cervical collar.
2. Physiotherapy like radiant heat,short wave diathermy or exercise.
3. Homoeopathy offers great benefit to such patients.
4. Medicines like Paris quad., lachnanthes, Phos acid, Rhus tox, Gelsimium, Cimicifuga, Conium are of great help to cervical patients. A patient is thoroughly examined and prescribed medicine after complete assessment of his condition.

Headache is generally throbbing or pulsating. Attacks may last for 4 to 72 hours.
Chief causes which trigger Migraine can be:
1. Hormonal changes in women as during menses, menopause, pregnancy or ladies on oral birth control pills.
2. Drinks. Too much strong coffee, wine, excess alcohol etc.
